The Wrexham Miners Project would like to thank everyone who came along to commemorate the 91st anniversary of the Gresford Mining Disaster.

To those who came with witness, or even participate, in the candle lighting ceremony – and especially to those who were in it for the long haul until we started to put the candles out at 2:08 in the morning – we appreciate you all.

Every year this is an emotional time, remembering a powerful event that still leaves its mark on our lives today.
