This month, Wrexham was privileged to be home of this year’s Eisteddfod Genedlaethol – And we were right in the mix!

The Eisteddfod, for those not in the know, is a huge festival held every year – alternating between the north and south of Wales each time – dedicated to celebrating Welsh culture, music, poetry, and industry.

We had our stall set up not too far from the main stage and were right in the mix alongside other great causes and projects from all over Wales.

Many walk ins from people who not only had ties to our own miner’s history, but from all over the world. One man who’s grandfather moved to the USA to join the mining trade there, and now here they were back in their homeland for the Eisteddfod!

Thank’s to everyone who was involved – both at the project itself, the stands at the Eisteddfod, and everyone who came to visit us and support! Without everyone involved this wouldn’t have been such a great week!
