We are pleased to announce that the first phase of major restoration work at the Wrexham Miners project is now underway.

This initial stage has seen the installation of solar panels, a significant step in reducing the site’s energy costs, which currently stand at approximately £1,000 per month.

The project has been made possible thanks to funding from the Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) through the Energy Efficiency Installation Grant, along with support from Reid Construction.

The solar installation has been successfully completed by Wrexham-based R EV Power and Solar Ltd, helping to secure a more sustainable and energy-efficient future for this historic site.
